‘Possibly the biggest upset’: Mark Waugh on Bangladesh’s win over Australia
Bangladesh stunned Australia with a nine-wicket victory in the first Test at Darwin, marking their first-ever win over the hosts on Australian soil. This achievement also made Bangladesh the quickest Asian team to secure a win in Australia since 1995, while it marked the first home Test loss for Australia against an Asian team other than India since 1995. Former Australia batsman and selector Mark Waugh labeled this loss as "possibly the biggest upset" he has witnessed in Australia.
