Nebraska basketball to host four-star power forward this September

Four-star power forward Dawson Battie, a Class of 2027 recruit, is scheduled to visit Nebraska basketball in September, according to Husker Online’s Robin Washut. Initially planned for October, Battie has shifted his visit to September 18-20. Ranked 22nd overall in the 2027 class, he is the sixth overall player at his position and the third overall player from Texas in Rivals Industry rankings.

Standing at six-foot-eight and weighing 215 pounds, the versatile playmaker has already visited Stanford in June and Nebraska twice in the past year, last month and in February for a game against Illinois. The Nebraska program currently has one commitment in the 2027 class to Ty Schlagel and is actively seeking additional high school talent.
