Bengaluru-based Econz IT Services to invest £10 mn to build business in U.K.

Bengaluru-based Econz IT Services plans to invest £10 million to build its presence in the United Kingdom over the next two to three years. The company, a leading Google Cloud partner, recently opened a dedicated Gemini Enterprise Experience Centre in Bengaluru to help enterprises explore and implement advanced agentic AI solutions.

Moby K. Babu, CEO and founder of Econz IT Services, stated that the centre will enable business leaders and technology teams to experience, build, test, and deploy practical applications of agentic AI, particularly in sectors such as banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), healthcare, IT, ITeS, and HR. The company has already developed 25 agentic AI systems and aims to pre-build over 200 more to assist enterprises in modernizing their infrastructure and applications.

Upon completion of the investment, Econz IT Services plans to hire 100 people in the UK and increase its workforce in India from 120 to 200 by hiring primarily AI engineers. The British Deputy High Commission welcomed Econz's plans to invest in the UK, highlighting the recent India-UK trade pact that has strengthened economic ties and facilitated deep AI collaboration through the Technology and Security Initiative (TSI).
