Balochistan CM offers jobs to ‘acid attack heroes’

Quetta, August 17th, 2026 - Balochistan's Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has taken a commendable step by offering government employment to Abdul Razzaq Khilji and his sibling, acknowledging their heroic intervention during an acid attack incident at Civil Hospital Quetta. Bugti met the duo at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, wherein he commended their humanity, bravery, and selflessness, highlighting that Razzaq Khilji had put his own life at risk to aid the injured doctor, Dr Mahnoor Nasar.

He further emphasized that such compassionate and responsible young individuals serve as role models for society and bring pride to the province. Bugti underlined the government's recognition and appreciation for citizens who step in to save lives and provide assistance to those in distress.
