Ayuso descarta una residencia oficial a diez meses de las elecciones: "No la he necesitado ni la he pedido"

Madrid's President Isabel Díaz Ayuso has ruled out a government residence just ten months before the elections, stating she has not needed or requested one. She emphasized that the twelve out of fifteen ministers who possess official homes have not provided any explanations for their lifestyles at the expense of all others. Ayuso highlighted the need to question who is living off the public purse and who is taking a "fatherly" role while on public funds.

She also questioned the utility of revisiting the assets used and for what purposes, expressing surprise at the level of scrutiny surrounding the matter. Ayuso, who has been in office for seven years, stated that she has not needed or requested a government residence and does not plan to do so ten months before the elections.

Regarding Ceuta's precarious situation, Ayuso stressed that the city is at the brink of collapse, with compromised security, overwhelmed health services, daily acts of aggression, and the looming threat of new epidemics. She criticized Pedro Sánchez, the Spanish Prime Minister, for being the politician with the least credibility in Europe, and for having the longest vacations and the most crises while the country faces challenges.

Ayuso requested information on the cost of Prime Minister Sánchez's vacations, currently enjoyed in Mareta, while Ceuta is on the brink of collapse.
