Angel City secured a 1-1 draw with the Washington Spirit on Sunday night, thanks to a goal from Ally Sentnor in the 85th minute. Earlier, Trinity Rodman scored her 10th goal of the season for the Spirit in the 65th minute, giving the team a 1-0 lead. Angel City's Sentnor equalized with a long-range shot in the 37th minute, but the goal was ruled out after a VAR review found Prisca Chilufya to have committed a handball.

In a separate match, Houston Dash defeated North Carolina Courage 3-2, with Clarissa Larisey scoring the winning goal in stoppage time, giving the Dash their fifth stoppage-time goal of the season.
