Accusations Against Adamus False – Cudjoe

Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has refuted allegations against Adamus Resources Limited, stating that the accusations are baseless and improperly conducted. The issue arose after the Minerals Commission revoked Adamus's mining leases without following the due process outlined in the Minerals and Mining Act. Cudjoe commended the efforts of Lands and Natural Resources Minister Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah in combating illegal mining, but expressed concerns that the Adamus situation could undermine those efforts.

He also criticized the formation of an Interim Management Committee to oversee the company's operations, claiming that the decision was hastily made and without proper legal procedures. Cudjoe urged the minister to dissociate himself from the decision, emphasizing that the actions of the Minerals Commission were unjust and detrimental to a reputable mining company.
