Yemeni interior minister: Armed forces and security united in defending state institutions

Yemen's interior minister has declared that the military and security forces are waging a unified national campaign to safeguard the republic and state institutions. In an address, Yemeni Interior Minister Ibrahim Haidan emphasized that the armed forces and security services have never been more cohesive and united in their fight against Houthi terrorism. He highlighted that the battle has morphed into a comprehensive national effort aimed at dismantling the coup and regaining control over all of Yemen's territory.

Haidan further pointed out that the Houthi militia has reached a point of desperation and financial ruin, forcing them to target civilians, essential infrastructure, and displacement camps as they falter in their efforts on the ground. The minister recently noted an escalation in Houthi attacks against critical civilian and vital targets within Yemen.

Despite these intensified assaults, the Yemeni army remains steadfast in its resolve to engage the militants on multiple fronts, working tirelessly to neutralize the threat and prevent the militia from seizing any more territory.
