Ukraine’s Onofriichuk Wins Gold at Gymnastics World Championships
Ukrainian gymnast Taisiia Onofriichuk secured the gold medal in the hoop exercise at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, scoring 30.700 points. Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli took silver, and Germany’s Darja Varfolomeev won bronze. The victory marks Onofriichuk’s first career world title and Ukraine’s first World Championship gold in rhythmic gymnastics since 2013.
