#SHOWBIZ: Black Maria singer AG dies of heart disease

KUALA LUMPUR — Black Maria's lead singer, whose real name was Abdul Aziz Bahari, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 48. His younger brother, AD, confirmed the news and stated that AG had died in their rented house in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1, Klang, Selangor. According to AD, his brother had collapsed at around 5am after waking up and standing briefly before losing consciousness.

Paramedics were called, but despite their efforts, it was too late for Abdul Aziz. He had been aware of his condition but chose not to seek further medical treatment, preferring to continue with odd jobs after leaving Black Maria. AD recounted that his brother had accompanied him for electrical wiring work and other tasks. Despite AG's refusal to seek hospital care, his remains were buried in Rembau, Negri Sembilan following Asar prayers. AD expressed gratitude for the burial but couldn't attend due to his sadness.
