[단독] 종합특검, 김건희 특검서 수사정보 빼돌린 경찰 기소

A special prosecutor team investigating the relocation of the Seoul-Apopyly Expressway route has accused a police officer, identified as ㄱ씨, of leaking information to obstruct the investigation. ㄱ씨, who was previously a member of the National Transportation Safety Board, is accused of sharing sensitive information to a special prosecutor team.

The prosecutor team obtained details of the case from a 2022 investigation into the handling of property related to the project. ㄱ씨 reportedly shared information with a colleague in the prosecutor team, who then passed it on to the police. This information was used to estimate the timing and extent of the search. The prosecutor team believes that ㄱ씨's actions allowed them to anticipate the search and delete relevant emails and documents from the National Transportation Safety Board's office.

In response, the prosecutor team stated that there was no evidence of any connection to the project in the emails. The controversy stems from the fact that the final decision to relocate the expressway was made under the previous administration of Kim Yeon-suk, who was in charge at the time.
