Homi Bhabha Centre starts registrations for Chemistry Olympiad Exposure Camp 2026; check camp dates

The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, has initiated online registrations for the Chemistry Olympiad Exposure Camp 2026. This camp is open to junior college and high school chemistry teachers from Classes 10th to 12th. Eligible teachers include those from schools or junior colleges affiliated with state or central government education boards. Registration will be open until September 11.

At the camp, scheduled from November 16 to November 19 at HBCSE, teachers will engage in pedagogical sessions that delve into chemistry concepts, both experimental and theoretical, relevant to the Chemistry Olympiad. Participants are required to solve at least one Olympiad problem provided to them before the camp and share their pedagogical insights on the problems.

Selected teachers will have their round-trip travel expenses reimbursed up to the maximum II-AC train fare, provided they book their tickets through prescribed travel agencies. Accommodation and meals will be provided during the camp at the HBCSE Guest House.
