Notably, the Horned Frogs achieved this feat despite not registering a single shot on goal and suffering a significant outshot tally of 13-2 against the Badgers.

Olivia Geller shone in goal, earning a shutout and contributing six crucial saves throughout the match. The Hornets Frogs earned their maiden win over the Badgers in program history, reversing the previous trend of the teams' interactions, which had been 0-2-1 in their last three contests.
