Sebastian Coe says LA 28 organizers have to find right balance with U.S. government

Birmingham, England – In the wake of the highly successful 2012 London Olympics, former head organizer Sebastian Coe is advocating for strong collaboration between Los Angeles Olympics 2028 (LA28) organizers and the U.S. government. Coe, who led the London Games as head of the local organizing committee, emphasizes that LA28 organizers must maintain close working relationships with the U.S. administration.

Coe, now head of track and field’s governing body, World Athletics, stresses the importance of building robust partnerships with government officials, similar to the strong collaboration he experienced during the London Olympics. He believes that LA28 organizers will need to work "shoulder-to-shoulder" with the U.S. administration to ensure the success of the 2028 Games.
