PAOK fans protest Konstantelias to BVB in various ways

PAOK fans displayed their disapproval of goalkeeper Giannis Konstantelias joining Borussia Dortmund by protesting in various ways. The move, which saw Konstantelias transfer to the German club ahead of a medical check, was met with discontent from the fans of the Greek side. Led by the popular ultras group "Gate 4", the supporters expressed their discontent by arriving at the club president's office demanding discussions and protesting outside the stadium.

The situation mirrored previous incidents when Stuttgart successfully finalized Konstantelias' transfer from PAOK last year, only for it to be canceled by club owner Ivan Savvidis when the player signed a new contract instead. Reports suggested that PAOK fans had gathered at Dortmund's stadium upon Konstantelias' arrival, hoping to persuade him to remain with his current team.

Fortunately, the player opted for a five-month loan spell at KAS Eupen instead. Konstantelias contributed three goals for PAOK during the Europa League qualifying rounds so far. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund had already signed Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk. The Black and Yellow recorded their second signing after their initial pursuit of Said El Mala from Köln fell through.
