Oborevwori, Azinge, Obaigbena, Guwor Grace Opening of Big Heart Radio Asaba

Asaba Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the Asagba of Asaba, Prof. Epiphany Azinge, media mogul Prince Nduka Obaigbena, and Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor were present as Big Heart Radio 92.1 FM was inaugurated in Asaba. The dignitaries agreed that the opening of the digital radio station would enhance media landscape in Delta State and Nigeria at large.

They praised Big Heart Radio 92.1 FM proprietor, Dr Anthony Idigbe, for his initiative, expressing confidence that the station would meet its lofty objectives. Governor Oborevwori acknowledged Idigbe's consistent investment in the state and urged the station to maintain constructive and objective criticism of government and public institutions.

Prince Obaigbena emphasized that radio is a strong medium for grassroots communication, highlighting the importance of investing in communication as an investment in society. Asagba Azinge commended Idigbe for bringing a major media investment to Asaba, calling it a landmark project that aligns with his vision of rebranding the city.

Speaker Guwor expressed optimism about the station's positive impact on the state and beyond, urging the station to uphold ethical and professional standards. Idigbe, the founder of Big Heart Radio 92.1 FM, said the inauguration marked the realization of his vision to establish a digital broadcast platform dedicated to educating, entertaining, and informing the people.

He thanked Governor Oborevwori for his leadership and the Asagba of Asaba for his innovative leadership, while thanking his family for supporting the establishment of the station in Asaba. The Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr. Charles Ebuebu, commended Idigbe for the initiative, emphasizing the evolving nature of radio broadcasting and urging the station to focus on its impact on the audience and contribute meaningfully to society.
