‘No no-go areas’ across Balochistan, says Home Minister Langove

Quetta, Balochistan: Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove asserted there are no "no-go areas" in the province, despite ongoing terrorist activity along the Quetta-Karachi national highway. During a press conference, Langove criticized armed groups for perpetrating terrorism and extortion in the name of an "independence struggle." He appealed to the Baloch people to support state institutions in the fight against terrorism.

Langove praised the security forces for maintaining security across the province and commended efforts to establish healthcare facilities in Kalat and Khaliqabad. However, he alleged that terrorists had removed ambulances from these areas, causing difficulties for residents, particularly women, who faced challenges transporting patients to hospitals.

Langove claimed that terrorists, supported by external forces from India and Afghanistan, were using violence as a cover for extortion and intimidation. He urged Baloch people to remain away from violence and cooperate with the government and state institutions. Responding to a question, Langove confirmed the presence of terrorists along the Quetta-Karachi RCD National Highway and acknowledged an attack on his convoy during his return from Independence Day events, resulting in injuries to six security personnel who were treated at local hospitals.
