MVIRDC World Trade Center Mumbai celebrates 80th Independence Day

The MVIRDC World Trade Center Mumbai hosted a grand Flag Hoisting Ceremony to commemorate India's 80th Independence Day. Government officials, diplomats, industry leaders, and distinguished guests gathered to honor the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride. Adv. Rahul Narwekar, Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, emphasized that Independence Day is a moment of immense pride for every Indian and a reminder of our collective responsibility towards the nation's prosperity.

Narwekar highlighted India's rapid progress, noting that the country is steadily moving towards becoming the world's third-largest economy by 2047. He underscored India's commitment to the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, recognizing the interconnectedness of the global community and its aspiration for peace, progress, and the well-being of all nations.

Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairman of the World Trade Center Mumbai, echoed the sentiment, stating that India's economy is thriving across various sectors, with a growth rate of around 7%. He called for the MSME sector and Indian industry to seize emerging opportunities and enhance their competitiveness in the global market. Kalantri stressed that the nation must work together to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The celebration was attended by diplomats and consular representatives from several countries, including Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Brazil, Japan, and China, symbolizing India's strong diplomatic ties and international cooperation. As the flag was raised and patriotic fervor filled the air, the event reinforced the commitment of MVIRDC WTC Mumbai to uphold the nation's spirit of unity and pride.
