Menu Rahmah operators nationwide reach 3,210 as of July, says deputy minister

As of July 2026, Menu Rahmah operators across Malaysia totalled 3,210, according to Deputy Minister Datuk Fuziah Salleh of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living. The deputy minister praised the broad participation, particularly among food stall and food court operators, which accounted for 1,016 registrations. Menu Rahmah is not a short-term initiative, but part of the government's ongoing commitment to prioritise the cost of living for citizens.

Fuziah emphasised that the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living would continue promoting the programme through the 'Jom Cari Menu Rahmah' campaign and collaborate with industry players, traders' associations, and food operators to expand menu offerings. Simultaneously, she highlighted the Madani Rahmah Sales Programme (PJRM) which has been implemented 19,322 times, surpassing the target of 17,500, with 25,486,997 transactions nationwide.

PJRM offers savings of 10 to 30 per cent on essential items, including chicken, fish, eggs, cooking oil, flour, rice, vegetables, fruits, and household necessities. The programme operates in 600 state constituencies and 40 zones in the Federal Territories, focusing on areas in greatest need. The KPDN Mini Carnival at the Melaka level, which took place from yesterday to tomorrow, featured government initiatives like exhibitions, advisory services, business matching, Menu Rahmah, and PJRM, as well as reasonably priced sales by 27 traders, stage activities, competitions, and an electronic sports (E-Sports) tournament in collaboration with Todak.

The programme garnered nearly 3,000 visitors on the first day, and organizers anticipate continued growth.
