Live: Knights pushing for top four spot against Titans

Round 24 of the NRL season concluded on Sunday with Newcastle hosting Gold Coast, and Wests Tigers facing St George Illawarra. The Knights aimed to maintain their top four hopes, while the Titans played for pride. Hunt claimed the ball and dropped it for Mooney, who went over for the try, assisted by Marzhew.

After Fotuaika clipped Ponga high, resulting in a penalty to the Knights, they went on another attacking kick. They lost the ball on the last play, but Gagai scored a try, catching Kini off guard. Smith missed a kick through, and it was ruled as no try. The Knights maintained their lead with 6-0 points.

Early in the game, the Titans were penalized for a strip, leading to another Knights set. Smith kicked across the field, and Hunt went up for it, only to have it disallowed for a foul. The referee ruled it as no try, and the Knights capitalized on the Titans' penalty.
