Dubai Police has introduced a new lost and found service that enables individuals to recover their misplaced belongings, no matter where they are in the UAE. The innovative initiative allows customers to receive their items at their homes or workplaces, wherever they may be, through an approved courier.

The service was unveiled by the authority via a tweet, stating: "Items found in Dubai can be delivered to your home or workplace anywhere in the UAE through an approved courier." To access the service, residents are advised to contact Dubai Police’s call centre at 901. This development is part of Dubai Police's broader initiative to enhance smart and customer-centric services, optimize processes, and elevate the overall customer experience.

The launch of the doorstep delivery service for lost-and-found items in the UAE earlier this year aimed to simplify and expedite the return process. Since its inception, Dubai Police has successfully returned 6,040 lost items, with a significant portion valued in millions of dollars. Notably, the service has also facilitated the transfer of a tourist's lost money abroad within a matter of hours.
