Down by five runs early, Bohm's three-run homer in the sixth inning, followed by De La Cruz's game-changing single, shifted the momentum in Philadelphia's favor. Andrew Morris allowed the eighth-inning runs, having been inconsistent in his previous 27 appearances since mid-June. Orion Kerkering's strong seventh inning pitching and Jhoan Duran's scoreless ninth inning helped secure the win for the Phillies.
