CISF official suspended for ‘taking woman’s photos secretly’ inside Delhi Metro train

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official, serving as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), was suspended on Sunday following allegations that he secretly photographed a woman on a Delhi Metro train, according to police. The incident occurred on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) network, near AIIMS Metro station.

Upon noticing the official taking photographs of her, the woman confronted him. Several passengers recorded the incident on their mobile phones, with one video later uploaded onto social media. In the footage, the woman can be seen asking, "What is this, bhaiya?" and demanding that the photos be deleted from the official's phone. Some passengers attempted to seize the phone from the CISF official, who refused, leading to a commotion.

Delhi Police were subsequently informed about the incident, and the CISF confirmed the official's suspension with immediate effect, initiating an inquiry into the matter. The CISF took the official into custody and handed him over to the appropriate authorities. The Delhi Metro Police confirmed that the CISF had suspended the official and launched an investigation into his alleged misconduct toward a female passenger on a metro train.
