Bawumia urges unity after NPP regional elections ahead of 2028

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has lauded the newly elected regional executives of the party and urged for unity as they prepare for the 2028 presidential and parliamentary elections. In a statement released on Sunday, August 16, Bawumia highlighted the completion of the regional elections as a crucial step in the party's democratic process and praised the peaceful conduct of the elections across the regions, which showcased the NPP's dedication to internal democracy and respect for its members' choices.
