BJP leader blames Trump for delay in Ahilyanagar road work

Former Indian MP Sujay Vikhe-Patil, who is also the Maharashtra vice-president of the BJP, has accused US President Donald Trump of responsible for increased alcohol consumption in India and the delay in the construction of the Ahilyanagar-Manmad Road. The construction work has been stalled due to a chain of global events, including Trump's shifting war policies, which have impacted the supply of crude oil, according to Vikhe-Patil.

The BJP leader noted that Trump's inconsistent statements on the war have led to confusion in India, resulting in increased alcohol consumption by some individuals. He also linked the delay in the road work to disruptions in the production processes related to crude oil, as the by-products obtained from these processes are used to manufacture bitumen for roads.

Consequently, the reduced availability of bitumen has led to the delay in the completion of the Ahilyanagar-Manmad Road.
