MONTREAL (AP) — Tai Baribo scored a goal for the fifth straight game and Sean Johnson made six saves in a 1-1 draw between D.C. United and CF Montreal on Saturday night. Baribo, who scored 16 goals for Philadelphia in 2025, netted his sixth goal in seven games and 12th in the season. Nicolás Fernández, Petar Musa, and Hugo Cuypers each netted 13 goals, the highest in the MLS this season.

D.C. United, unbeaten in their last six matches with only one win, now sits at 5-5-9, while Montreal remains winless in eight games at 4-10-5. Montreal dominated possession with 62% and outshot D.C. 19-8, with 7-2 on target. The teams' previous encounter ended in a 4-4 tie on May 23 in Washington. Keisuke Kurokawa conceded the penalty and received a yellow card after VAR confirmed his handball in the area.
