Ballistic missile lands in Mokha as Houthis launch new attacks

A ballistic missile struck Mokha, Yemen, as Houthi militias escalated their attacks with missiles and drones, according to the Yemeni government forces. The missile found its target on Electricity Street in the city. The Houthis have been launching new attacks on Mokha, employing a variety of weapons. The Yemeni Armed Forces responded with drone strikes, targeting militia groups and vehicles on the Maqbanah front, located west of Taiz province.

The state-run news agency SPA reported that a military commander stated the strikes were part of coordinated field operations among armed forces units. One strike specifically targeted a militia vehicle on Jabal Al-Zuhaib, resulting in the destruction of the vehicle and the deaths of several militants, including Mohammed Al-Shalabi. Al-Shalabi's brother, who served as a Houthi commander, and field commander Burhan Al-Abdali, along with others from the Hammam Al-Tawair area, were wounded in the drone strikes.
