Anwar umum tambahan RM1 juta bagi setiap kawasan Parlimen

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced additional funding of RM1 million for each parliamentary constituency, asserting that aid to the public should not be influenced by political differences. The PKR president, who is also Anwar, refuted claims by the government of deliberately restricting development funds to states governed by opposition parties, thereby making citizens victims.

During the PKR National Congress, Anwar pledged to provide an additional RM1 million for each constituency. He also denied allegations that he was sidelining states under the National Unity Front (PN), despite some Umno leaders previously disagreeing with his decision to allocate aid to affected states. Anwar faced criticism from fellow Umno members in Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu, who accused him of wrongdoing.

The prime minister emphasized his responsibility to assist the poor, regardless of their political leanings. He promised to aid them, stating that he cannot remain silent if his states suffer severe damage due to natural disasters and destruction of properties. Anwar, as the prime minister, must make fair decisions for all citizens, not just a select few.
