All 1BHKs under Delhi Development Authority’s new housing scheme sold out on Day 1

All 1BHK units in the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026 housing scheme in Narela were snapped within the first day of the sale. Out of 1,218 flats offered, 661 were claimed on Saturday during the 'First Come, First Serve' booking process, according to DDA officials. The scheme provides a 25% discount on new, ready-to-move 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK apartments priced at Rs 33.40 lakh, Rs 75.55 lakh, and Rs 1.065 crore respectively.

Located near Metro and RRTS stations, the complex offers freehold ownership without restrictions on existing property ownership and permits amalgamation of adjoining flats. Despite the scheme's success, DDA has historically struggled to sell flats in Narela due to connectivity issues and civic concerns. The new housing initiative comes as the government aims to boost demand for affordable housing in the area, citing recent improvements in infrastructure and connectivity.
