80th Independence Day In Madhya Pradesh: Districts Celebrate With Tricolour, Parades And Cultural Events

On August 15th, Madhya Pradesh observed its 80th Independence Day with grand celebrations across various districts. In Ratlam, the municipal corporation hoisted the flag at the Corporation building, with Mayor Prahlad Patel emphasizing the importance of unity and vigilance towards national duties. Councillors paid tribute to freedom fighters at Mini India Gate and Shaheed Chowk.

Students at Yash Public School in Nagda also participated enthusiastically, with the school management expressing gratitude for the success of the event.

In Kasrawad, Kendriya Vidyalaya began the celebrations with a Prabhat Pheri, followed by a flag-hoisting ceremony and cultural performances. Principal JP Bohre delivered a motivational speech, urging students to perform duties selflessly and maintain cleanliness. At JNV Ghattiya, Principal Kiran Mahaske led the programme, which included a disciplined parade, patriotic speeches, and a cultural showcase of Malwa, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra traditions. Yoga and self-defence performances were particularly well-received.

The celebration at Fort Ground featured Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena hoisting the flag and recognizing exceptional students and officers. Macro Vision Academy in Burhanpur hosted a unique musical event, featuring singer Suchetha Satish, who performed in over 155 languages, including a multilingual rendition of Vande Mataram to mark the song's 150th anniversary. The event highlighted the spirit of unity in diversity, with the school community reaffirming its commitment to India's unity, integrity, and progress.
