First-year Carol City coach Toro Wallace entrusted the game to Lennear, who delivered in the most crucial moments. Lennear, who had been quiet throughout the match prior to overtime, emerged as a superstar, finishing with 6 receptions for 48 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
