U.P. CM Yogi Adityanath announces new ‘Youth Policy’ on Independence Day

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled a new 'Youth Policy' on Independence Day, emphasizing the state's youth as its greatest strength. Speaking at a state-level Independence Day celebration at Vidhan Bhavan, Adityanath expressed his delight at announcing the policy aimed at further enhancing the skill, innovation, and employment of the state's youth through an integrated approach.

The upcoming policy is expected to concentrate on skill development, employment generation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and entrepreneurship under a dedicated mechanism. Adityanath highlighted the potential of the state's youth, describing them as talented, hard-working, and determined individuals who can contribute significantly to the nation and society.

The Chief Minister also praised the improvement in law and order in Uttar Pradesh under the BJP rule, noting that the state has transitioned from being a 'State of Unrest' to a 'State of Celebrations'. He added that Uttar Pradesh, once among the BIMARU states, is now serving as the 'growth engine' for the country's economy. Adityanath stressed that the government has ended policy paralysis, creating an environment that is attractive for investments.

The Chief Minister further detailed the state's efforts to empower women, stating that women and daughters now have the freedom to move about without fear, pursue education, and achieve their dreams. Over the past decade, Adityanath assured, women have been granted not only respect but also freedom from insecurity.

Adityanath envisioned a future Uttar Pradesh that seamlessly blends its rich heritage with the technology of the future. He envisioned a state where the pride of culture and the pace of modernity coexist, with traditional roots remaining strong while development aspirations touch the sky.
