TTD gearing up for twin Brahmotsavams this year: Chairman B.R. Naidu

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu announced on Saturday that the temple management will conduct twin Brahmotsavams this year, a rare event that happens once every three years due to the astrological phenomenon known as 'Adhika Masam'. The regular Brahmotsavams are scheduled from September 15-23, while the Navaratri Brahmotsavams will take place from October 12-20.

At the Independence Day celebrations, Naidu spoke about the extensive preparations being made to ensure devotees from around the world have a smooth visit to Tirumala. He emphasized that serving devotees and preserving Sanatana Dharma are the primary missions of the TTD, and the organization is committed to providing education, healthcare, and religious services.

Additionally, Naidu unveiled plans for a ₹120 crore modern Annaprasadam kitchen, 32 extra electric buses to Tirumala, the opening of a ₹145 crore Sri Venkateswara Museum, and development of pilgrim amenities at Vontimitta, known as the 'Ayodhya of Andhra'. The chairman also announced the acceleration of construction of Srivari temples in various Indian cities, with a ₹140 crore investment for a Maha Gopuram, Pushkarini, and Vahana Mandapam at the Amaravati temple.
