Hamzah Zainudin, the President of Wawasan, has emphasized that good governance cannot remain a mere political slogan, but must become an essential foundation of any government, according to wire material from June 13. He clarified that the Reset agenda he proposed is not merely about changing the government, but correcting the way the nation plans its economy, education, unity, and welfare for the people.

The first cornerstone of this agenda, according to him, is to find common goals to build a more advanced and forward-looking nation. The second pillar, he added, is the sharing of wealth, which can only be achieved if the nation's economy is first strengthened. For Hamzah, the concept of shared prosperity cannot stop at economic growth figures, but must be translated into the daily lives of the people.

He elaborated, "Firstly, there is food on the table. Secondly, they think about the amount of money in each individual's pocket. And thirdly, that everyone can think about having a home and a place of shelter." In a FMT interview, Hamzah announced the resurfacing of Wawasan, formerly known as Cinta Malaysia (PCM), as a political platform for the Reset movement under the narrative of 'New National Consensus'.

This movement aimed at strengthening political cooperation among various blocs and parties alike. The third point, he stressed, is compassionate governance, or humane administration, which cannot be questioned. He reiterated that the government should not only look at the wealthy, middle class, or poor in isolation, but build a system that makes all parties feel protected.

The wealthy would help those less fortunate, just as the poor, the government would strive to elevate. All of them envisage living peacefully and harmoniously in the beloved country they cherish.
