Syarikat penerbangan nafi helikopter terbakar di kemudahannya

An aviation maintenance company has denied that a helicopter caught fire at its hangar at Subang International Airport this morning. CarbonMRO also denied any connection to the Kamov Ka-32S helicopter involved in the incident. The event did not occur in their hangar, and the helicopter involved was not a CarbonMRO customer, said the company's public relations head, Trixie Guantero, in a statement.

Guantero emphasized that as an aviation company, safety, accuracy, and professional integrity are the foundation of all their actions. Earlier, Selangor Fire and Rescue stated that they received an emergency call regarding the incident at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport at 12:30 PM. The department confirmed that four individuals, identified as Ukrainian nationals, managed to escape from the involved helicopter.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) Executive Director Norazman Mahmud said the incident occurred along the Victor route, causing temporary closure of flight operations at the airport. He added that during the landing area shutdown, eight incoming flights were rerouted to other airports, while three were forced to delay takeoffs. The passengers were advised to check with their respective aviation companies for the latest flight developments, Bernama reported.
