Star Wars: Smuggler's Gambit Lets You Keep Helping Hondo Ohnaka in Fortnite After You Leave Disneyland

Star Wars: Smuggler's Gambit is an upcoming Fortnite project that promises to bring the Smuggler's Run experience from Disneyland to the online gaming world. The game allows players to continue their experience in Fortnite after leaving the Disneyland ride, with the option to link their MyDisney account to the game and unlock a special experience at the theme parks.

The game takes place on Ord Ryla, anchored around a grounded ship called the Scuttled Sparrow. Players can choose from three factions, weapon and item vendors, a dock for boarding ships, and a location where Hondo Ohnaka is present, voiced by the returning Jim Cummings. There are several missions to choose from, which players can vote on, and objectives that are listed on the screen.

Players can select from three player classes: Pilot, Gunner, and Engineer, which mirror those found on the Smuggler's Run ride. Cooperation is highly recommended on higher difficulty levels, as enemies such as stormtroopers can become overwhelming. However, leveling up and upgrading weapons can make the task easier.

The missions in the game include The Imperial Patrol, The Pirate Raid, The Pirate Hunt, The Heist, and The Reverse Robbery, with wild beasts also present on the planet. The game is set to be available on August 16, and it promises to be a fun experience with friends, with the added bonus of extending the theme park experience beyond Disneyland.
