Russia threatens damage to ties with U.S. and Turkey over new arms supplies to Ukraine

Kyiv, Ukraine - In a striking nighttime operation, Ukrainian anti-ship missiles, drones, and sea drones targeted a major Russian naval base on the Black Sea coast, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The sophisticated drones, developed by Kyiv since the Russian invasion over four years ago, have repeatedly targeted Russian ships in the region, including warships and oil tankers.

Despite Russia's larger army, Ukrainian officials claim their uncrewed fleet has hindered the Black Sea navy's movements, marking one of their major war achievements. Russian President Vladimir Putin, however, remains committed to the invasion, planning a significant mobilization of Russian troops by the year-end. Intelligence reports also suggest Russia is ramping up production of ballistic missiles and drone technology, which are hard for Ukrainian air defenses to counter.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is scaling up its weapon manufacturing through partnerships with other nations, signaling both countries' intent to continue the conflict.
