Voters at a polling station in Osun State have expressed their discontent over the prolonged delay in the ongoing governorship election. The aggrieved voters, who were seen sitting on the ground at Polling Unit 11, Ward 009, alleged they had been present since 7:00 am, without any information regarding when they would be permitted to cast their votes.

One of the protestors lamented, "This is unjust to us. Many individuals did not dine prior to leaving their homes this morning. We are uncertain if we will be granted the opportunity to vote or not." The video, shared on X on Saturday, August 15, 2026, showcased the group of voters congregated at the polling unit, waiting for the electoral officials to commence the voting process.
