Osun Decides: ‘APC sharing money’ – Voters chase alleged vote buyers from polling units [VIDEO]

Voters at a polling unit in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State have accused suspected All Progressives Congress, APC, supporters of sharing money during the ongoing governorship election. The alleged incident was captured in a video at Ward 4, Unit 7, where voters confronted the alleged vote buyers. According to the witnesses, the incident took place at approximately 9:30 am.

Another similar incident was reported at Ward 4, Unit 13 around 10:30 am. A voter told the video crew that the individuals accused of distributing the cash fled the area with some of the money in a polythene bag. "We don't know how much was there. They ran away and used a polythene bag to take the money away," the voter said in the video.

The voter also mentioned that despite instructions that cash should not be given to voters at polling units, those involved were still sharing money. "The rule given to us was that we should not give money to anyone. We did not cause any trouble; we were only running after them," the voter added.

The voters displayed money they claimed they had recovered from the accused individuals, along with a card they identified as belonging to the APC. "This is the evidence. The card they used belongs to the APC, and their logo is on it," the voter stated.

The incident allegedly occurred at the polling unit of Najeem Folasayo Salaam, commonly known as Iwaloye, who is the ADC governorship candidate. However, the witnesses alleged that the people caught distributing the money were associated with the APC. They displayed an APC card as evidence to support their claims.

The voter noted that the event took place at Iwaloye's unit, where APC members were allegedly sharing money. They reported that the incident happened at about 9:30 am in Unit 7 and 10:30 am in Unit 13.
