No permanent enemies in politics, says Satish Jarkiholi

Satish Jarkiholi, the Minister of the Karnataka state, clarified his stance regarding his reported differences with Minister Laxman Savadi. Jarkiholi stated in Belagavi that such differences are common in politics and do not affect their work. He emphasized that there are no permanent enemies or friends in politics and that the two ministers reconcile when they are in Bengaluru together.

Jarkiholi dismissed the controversy over Savadi's welcome posters, stating that they were not government-funded and were created by Savadi's followers. He also announced that a woman will be appointed to the Cabinet after the monsoon session. Jarkiholi dismissed the pressure from Siddaramaiah's followers and said that the party will consider their suggestions in various issues.

He also mentioned that there are several capable candidates for the women minister position, including Laxmi Hebbalkar, Umashree, and Gayatri Shamtegouda. Jarkiholi highlighted that there were no ministers appointed for the new Praja Seve or public grievance redressal department, but the new Chief Minister has given a 100-day target to achieve 10 tasks.

He also addressed the remarks made by some BJP leaders about Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan's patriotism, asserting that Khan is busy with BBMP elections and does not want to focus on other matters. Jarkiholi urged the BJP not to play politics in such matters.
