New York Giants waive WR Beaux Collins with injury settlement

The New York Giants have waived wide receiver Beaux Collins from injured reserve with an injury settlement, marking the end of his association with the team. Collins had been struggling with a concussion during the preseason. Initially waived with an injury designation earlier this month, he cleared waivers and was subsequently placed back on the injured reserve list.

The 23-year-old had signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent from Notre Dame in May 2025 after transferring from Clemson. During the 2025 season, Collins made the initial 53-man roster as the sole undrafted player. He appeared in nine games, recording two receptions for 25 yards and contributing on special teams before a neck injury ended his season prematurely for the final eight games.

The injury settlement allows Collins to resume his recovery and seek opportunities with other teams prior to the 2026 season. Additionally, cornerback DJ James, who was also waived/injured earlier in the week, cleared waivers and returned to the reserve/injured list.
