Moore double leads Spurs to 3-0 friendly win over Hoffenheim

Tottenham Hotspur secured a comfortable 3-0 pre-season friendly victory against Hoffenheim at their home stadium on Saturday. English midfielder Mikey Moore, just 19 years old, played a key role in the win, scoring both of his goals with the assistance of Mathys Tel. The first goal came in the 59th minute when Moore linked up with Tel, who finished the play from the left.

Moore then added a second goal 20 minutes later after further fine work from Tel. Richarlison had put Spurs ahead in the 35th minute with a well-placed shot. Moore had spent the previous season on loan at Scottish club Rangers and was last seen playing competitively for Spurs in May 2025. The team will continue their pre-season preparations with a second match against Hoffenheim at their London training ground on Sunday, with Tottenham's Premier League campaign set to begin on August 22 against Brentford.

England full-back Djed Spence did not feature in Saturday's match as he had completed a move to Inter Milan.
