Marvel’s New ‘X-Men’ Cast Revealed: Adam Driver as Mr. Sinister, Inde Navarrette as Rogue and More

Marvel has unveiled the cast for their upcoming "X-Men" reboot, announced at D23 on Friday. Adam Driver will portray the villain Mr. Sinister, while Inde Navarrette takes on the role of Rogue. Maya Boyd will play Storm, and Christopher Abbott will be Professor X. Joining these actors is Sadie Sink, who made her debut as Jean Grey in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Feige hinted that the film will focus on Jean Grey's story and will be released in theaters on May 5, 2027.

Among these new mutants joining the ensemble are Kit Connor as Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen. This news follows a series of rumors about the actors being considered for these roles. Inde Navarrette expressed her desire to play Mystique over Rogue before the announcement. Driver's casting is significant, as he has been linked to several MCU roles in the past, previously being rumored for Mister Fantastic.

The "X-Men" film will be directed by Jake Schreier, who also directed 2025's "Thunderbolts*," now known as "The New Avengers." The screenplay will be written by Lee Sung Jin, creator of "Beef," with Joanna Calo and Michael Lesslie contributing to the script.
