KRA officers trained to detect emerging threats through intelligence profiling

NAIROBI, Kenya - Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers have completed an Intelligence Profiling and Analytics Course at the National Criminal Investigations Academy (NCIA), enhancing their skills to detect emerging threats and complex data. The course, concluded on August 15, focuses on intelligence profiling, analysis, and interpretation to support operational and strategic decision-making.

NCIA Commandant Ibrahim Jillo emphasized that the training enables officers to identify patterns and inform enforcement decisions beyond processing raw information. KRA's Erick Osenya expressed confidence that the officers would apply these skills to translate intelligence analysis into practical action. The program underscores growing collaboration between law enforcement and government institutions in using specialized intelligence capabilities, aligning with the increasing reliance on data analysis in crime prevention and enforcement.
