On August 15, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced that its official Instagram account had been removed, only to be restored later that same day. The group viewed this action as an attempt to silence their voice on India's Independence Day. In a statement, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke condemned the perceived censorship, declaring, "They took down the official Instagram handle of Cockroach Janta Party.

These efforts included campaigns about the condition of government and village schools, as well as protests concerning student and educational issues. The party had also called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the nation's youth in his Independence Day message, highlighting concerns over unemployment and education.

Additionally, the CJP led a protest in Delhi seeking the resignation of the previous Union education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, over alleged irregularities in competitive exams. CJP founder Dipke initiated the party in May following Chief Justice of India Surya Kant's reference to "cockroaches," allegedly directed at the youth.

Kant later clarified that his comments were aimed at individuals with fraudulent qualifications, not at the youth.
