CHICAGO (AP) — With a calm demeanor and a smile, Joshua Báez made his major league debut with the Cardinals by hitting the first pitch he saw nearly 450 feet for a home run. Báez, called up from Triple-A Memphis, debuted in front of 30 members of his family at Wrigley Field. He quickly cemented his place in Cardinals history by hitting three home runs in his first three at-bats, leading the team to an 8-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
