Josh Allen gets comfortable in Bills’ new stadium with TD pass in 29-14 preseason win over Panthers

Orchard Park, N.Y. (AP) — The newly built Buffalo Bills stadium hosted the team's first competitive preseason game, where quarterback Josh Allen showcased his skills. The Bills secured a 29-14 victory against the Carolina Panthers in the opener of the $2.1 billion stadium. Allen's impressive performance included a 9-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman, as well as a strong arm and elusive scrambling abilities throughout the game.

The outing marked the first time the Bills played their starters in their new home, alongside new coach Joe Brady. Although the Panthers' starters struggled, rookie Kenny Pickett stepped in for the second half, throwing a 6-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Seem Reed. Weather conditions, such as sunny skies and the Erie County Fair nearby, contributed to a less-than-full attendance at the stadium.
