Giants rout Rockies 7-1 as Logan Webb cruises and Drew Gilbert drives in 3

Starting pitcher Logan Webb limited the Rockies to four hits and one run over six innings, marking his 1,100th career strikeout when he struck out Zac Veen. Drew Gilbert contributed significantly with three hits, including a home run and three RBIs.

In the fourth inning, Turner Hill's sacrifice fly with the bases loaded initiated the Giants' scoring surge. Gilbert then drove in two runs with a two-run single. Rafael Devers added a run on a ground-rule double, while Bryce Eldridge provided the final run in the innings. Webb faced a shoulder injury during the fifth inning but continued pitching and was relieved by Carson Seymour after the sixth inning.
