Free orthopaedic, diabetic foot care camp held in Vellore

A free orthopaedic and diabetic foot care camp was organized in Vellore on Saturday, coinciding with the 80th Independence Day celebrations. The camp, held at Sathuvachari near the Collectorate, was organized by MMM Ortho Hospital to raise awareness about early diagnosis and timely treatment of various musculoskeletal issues. Participants, who ranged from young to old, were screened for knee, back, neck pain, arthritis, heel pain, and joint stiffness.

Over 500 attendees benefited from the camp, which also offered free bone mineral densitometry check-ups and monofilament tests. The primary goal of the camp was to promote early detection of health issues and encourage timely medical intervention.
