Former Steelers cornerback Beanie Bishop stole the spotlight during the Cleveland Browns' preseason opener against the Chicago Bears. The talented young quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, found himself on the wrong end of a spectacular interception, courtesy of Bishop. Sanders' pass attempt, which was far from his best, was intercepted by Bishop, marking a significant stumble in his Cleveland debut.

This interception, far more impactful than a similar play on Browns' backup quarterback Dillon Gabriel, came at a crucial juncture, as Deshaun Watson vies for the starting quarterback role. Sanders' performance was nothing short of abysmal, completing just 6 out of his 11 passes for a mere 79 yards and no touchdowns, resulting in a dismal passer rating of 39.6.

Bishop, who has been making waves with his third NFL team this season, previously dazzled during his rookie year with the Steelers, recording four interceptions, seven passes defended, and 45 combined tackles. After a stint with the New Orleans Saints' practice squad, he joined the Bears on August 9 and could potentially earn a spot on the 53-man roster if his strong preseason performances continue.
